The Peeples Valley Fire District is looking to appoint an individual to fill one mid-term Board vacancy up for re-election in November 2026. Fire Board Members receive no financial benefits; it is a voluntary public service role. Meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month at 10:00 AM. Meetings are held at the Old Peeples Valley School, 18205 S. Highway 89. Additional workshops and meetings may be scheduled, particularly during the annual budget preparation.

Additional consideration may be given to individuals with past local government experience, proven understanding of Arizona Open Meeting and Public Record laws, prior Board experience with other special taxing districts, availability of time and willingness to participate, length of residency in the district, and absence of known conflicts of interest.

Interested individuals must be registered voters living within the Peeples Valley Fire District boundaries and will need to provide a Resume and Letter of Interest.
